I don't like the sub lcd screen savers. Does anyone know of a way to change them w/o using the same screen saver as the main lcd? You only have 3 choices for the sub lcd. Please help.
Thanks J |

I went from a sanyo 5600 to the A920.
I missed the better screen, Im thinking about going for the A900 Quick question for other A920 users.. When Im on the phone and the other person is talking I can hear them just fine., but as soon as they stop talking it goes to a complete silence, even if they have background noise, like a tv on...Its like they hung up, so im force to ask are you still there or check my phone to make sure my battery didn't die. Is it just my phone or do all phones do that? All my other phones I have had, I heard the noise in the background even if the person was not talking... |

Ovaltine224 --> is there a way to turn that off? I dont like it one bit, its almost like they are talking into a walkie talkie, they cut off after they say something, and sometimes they cut in and out if the background noise gets a little bit louder.
Does the A900 do the same? |

i think its been included in every samsung since the a600.
and i dont think there is a way to turn it off. its more of a built in feature in the earpiece. if it really aggravates u that much, why not get a bluetooth headset?

it should. unless the bluetooth headset has noise cancellation too
yea but usually when a earpiece isnt good, a headset fixes it you have a 920 rite?

Just got my a920 last night and activated. Man, I'm loving this phone. Of course I'm coming from a Moto Timeport P8167 - 5 years old. The a920 is essentially the same size and weight, but with 50 times the features.
Totally in love with it so far, but have barely scrapped the surface. I'll post a decent review here once I get more time with it.

The screen on the a900 is definitely nice. I couldn't live without an expansion slot though. My a920 is already loaded with a movie, an audio book, and 5 albums. Love it. Haven't tried Orb yet though - perhaps that could fill all your media needs on the a900.

A920 - Good, solid phone
My wife and I have had our 920s for 2 months now and have found them to be a great phones. We have found no problems with the phones at all. I am amazed to find very few posts in this forum concerning problems with the 920. On the other hand, the forum is full of posts about problems with the A900, especially the battery issues. I find it hard to believe that the sleek look of the 900 outweighs all the problems with the phone. I don't understand why people don't trade in the 900 for the 920. I surely wouldn't want to use a phone that frustrates me everyday. Just my opinion.
