Yea that is me. I have an 18% discount from my old employer and now work for myself. However one of the companies I contract for sent me an insert with my check for EC Purchasing which offers a 20% discount for all wireless carriers including Sprint. I never signed up since it required a two year extension for a measly extra $2.20/month off.

So how do I work this? I just took my "gold" upgrade on my primary line, and am going to upgrade my second in September. Do I swap out discounts before hand or wait until after I upgrade?

How do I get one of those $10 to $15 access credits?

You can't they don't have that stuff any more. Too many system abusers, so it was removed.

If the company you contract out offers a discount then you can apply for it, you would need proof in the form of pay stubs or ID that you are with that company.

If that is the case you do not have to wait to do the upgrade, you can apply now for it and get the 20% off of the primary line.

The above response is the answer as well.

Ok I logged back in to ecpurchasing.com and followed their links to a "Custom Aisles Welcome EC Purchasing Members Member Sprint Store" page. Then "Add discounts for existing customers" sent me to a "Sprint Discount Request" page with the company I contract for as "Employer".

The only thing stopping me is Your discount will be reflected on your bill within two billing cycles and Yes, I acknowledge that I have read, understand and agree to the Terms and Conditions of my new Agreement associated with this discount, including the new TWO-Year term commitment and that an ETF of up to $350/line for advanced devices and up to $200/line for other devices apply if I terminate early.

Does that mean I lose my upgrade eligibility? I have my son on a third line that is up for renewal this December, does agreeing to the above renew his line for two years also?

No your contract has nothing to do with upgrading devices . You still get the upgrade every 20 months.

So you will not lose out on the upgrade if you are eligible in December, you will need to renew your contract if it's more than 60 or 90 days ( I can't remember off the top of my head). Meaning if you upgrade in December you will have to renew again ( it will just extend the expiration date out a couple of months)

It's supposed to be for all lines on the account before it was just the primary now I read it's all lines .

There should be an option that says if you a student or credit union member or no work email . You will fill out the form and fax/ email over the information.

Veteran ID card, Department of Defense form 214 or a copy of your military orders. (Note: The Department of Defense does not permit military IDs to be photocopied, scanned or faxed as a proof document.)
So if no photo copies can be made, how can I fax proof in?

Thanks for answering these questions. I want to make sure I get this right.

6 one half dozen the other. They're slowly doing away with corporate discounts anyway.

I sent up a military discount for a customer but the system recognized their military address. You don't have a military email address.

I honestly don't know the customers that are getting military discounts usually copy the info and send it over from what they have told me.

I would try it and see.

No they are just getting stricter and getting rid of leeches. They have to find ways to increase profits.

The only thing about it i think is that its a hassle for customers to go thru the process every 20 months especially when they work for the same company. People have busy lives and just want to upgrade and get new phones.

The process now is a headache for a lot of customers that are new.
