Moving your data + apps to a new phone

This may be covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it. (might make a good sticky) I'm looking to upgrade from EVO to LTE, what do I need to do to move all my apps and any non-Google data to my new phone? I have ASTRO file manager on my phone (unrooted) already. This will apply to both me (getting a new phone) and my daughter (I hope to move her from a cracked-but-functioning EVO to my in-better-shape EVO)

Thanks in advance.

Titanium Backup is the gold standard if you're rooted.
If you're not, I don't think you'll be able to backup app data.

In that case I'd recommend App List Backup. It makes a list of your apps that it saves to your SD card. You can copy the list to the new phone, then download the app to the new phone from the Market (sorry, Play Store) and then the app makes it easy to re-install all your apps from the Market.

Exactly. If you are not rooted, you can use an app like AppBrain to make a list of your installed apps. But unless you are rooted, you cannot backup app data, like app settings and game saves.
