New iPhone Prototype Pics?

Looks quite credible. If that's a fake, someone put some time into it.

Observations: Bigger, aluminum back (mostly), don't like speaker grills, smaller connector. Lots of space for a battery.

And another:

The top and bottom look like glass. Flash looks larger.

Wow! just the size I was looking for.
If this turns out to be good I might just ditch my beloved Evo.

No way will apple change the dock connector.
These pics are more than likely NOT the Iphone 5.
They are a hoax !

This is one of several reports that the power/sync connector will be of a smaller format. However, personal opinion, given it does not use a standard USB connector why bother? Moving from one proprietary connector to another proprietary connector, even though it is smaller, really doesn't provide anything other than more cables.

Just a quick left step, but that is one reason I like the Mophie cases. That case provides conversion to a standard USB cable that allows the phone to be charged and sync'd from standard USB ports.

All signs point to the design shown as being legit.

Schematic of the new design. So far I am liking the design quite a bit. Glass and aluminum should ensure it feels like what it will cost. No cheap flimsy back panels in sight.

We all should hope for clear Wifi/radio signals.
Aluminum panels hinder it.

Several other manufactures have been doing this since Apple initially did and have had plenty of successful devices with such.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I think this time around, I'll opt for black. Not sure about the white two tones on this prototype. I hope it's different once production starts (If it hasn't already).

Yep glad I opted for black on my iPhone 4s and I plan to get black on the iPhone 5. I am selling my husbands white iPhone 4s 16gb to fund my iPhone 5 and giving him my 4s 64gb.

I still think apple will never get rid of the proprietary dock connector.
Everything that apple has made in the past is in a uniform fashion.

I'm sure the two-tones are just for the prototypes.

Glass and aluminum being two different materials altogether are going to give a two tone look by default.
