Healthcare employee discount
Does anyone known if there is a monthly discount for general healthcare employees? I know that certain hospitals get very nice discounts (one person I know gets 23%), but what about, for example, a nurse or physician's assistant who works in a private office?
I asked about this at the Sprint store, and they had no idea. |

There is no general discount for healthcare professionals. Only for specific company employees if that company participates.

If one of the Docs is a member of one of the specialty organizations (if board-certified), they can check with Sprint Business and ask.

Not true.
I have an ACP specialty organization discount through Sprint Business, and my employees are eligible, at least that was the policy when we changed over. |

Sprint Business is different from Sprint Consumer. Sounds like OP is asking in relation to a consumer account. If not then of course your info would be pertinent Merlin

Do not forget as well....if you do qualify for a discount then you will need to sign a new 2 year contract to apply this discount. Signing this new 2 year contract does not qualify you for an upgrade. Your upgrade date still stays the same. But it does add on a new full ETF to that line along with the 2 years. Just something to keep in mind.

Another store employee told me that if you're a doctor and you accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, that also makes you eligible for a 20% discount. However, when I called Customer Service, they asked for a copy of a membership ID card. Doctors don't get membership ID cards (there is probably some sort of an affiliate contract in the files for verification purposes), but I couldn't get that through to the Sprint person. They insisted on seeing a membership ID card or an email address with a company domain. Ughh.

If you're affiliated with HCA, it is a 23% discount if I remember correctly.

It's actually a dental practice. Not sure if HCA would apply.

I know that healthcare employees get discounts. The issue is that this is a small dental practice, and Sprint employees themselves don't know which code to put on this account and what would be acceptable for verification. There is no email domain, hospital badge, etc.

If you are affiliated with VHA, I think it is also 23% as well.

Hi guys, still trying to find a proper code for this. As I described before, this is for an employee of a small dental office. Thanks!
