I think people that keeping waiting for a ''better'' phone are funny, cause there is always a better phone coming. To each their own though
I agree to a point. You could be waiting for something you want more than what is currently released. If someone has a preference to one OEM, wants a quad core processor, wants a phone that supports LTE on 1900MHz AND 800MHz or any other feature that may be missing from the current selection, that would be good reason to wait. Sooner or later, you have to pull the trigger on something or as you eluded to, you will be caught up in the perpetual cycle of OEMs marketing something new or "better" and it will drive them crazy.

No matter what device Apple puts out you will be limited with what you can do with it.
If people are happy with a "Jailbound" device more power to them!

I don`t want to pay top dollar for something and not be able to do what I want with it !
(You can`t remove the battery- You can`t have live wallpaper etc etc...)
I don`t want to be told "You can`t do that" either

With the devices that Android is putting out this year the choice will be harder for everyone !

It`s really not a good time to leave Android !

We'll see. Samsung is rumored to have a quad core processor that is capable of running LTE being built in house. Apple is also rumored to be packing a quad core in the next iPhone. Apple can't afford the battery drain of putting the A5x in the next iPhone, so who knows if it will have a quad core. That said, there are dual core processors that are as fast or faster than quad core processors. Time will tell which one wins the arms race.

I seriously hope it's the back- otherwise we appear to not have the hardware camrea button! I got really excited when I saw the one below.

So far specs are what was expected in terms of screen res, dpi, CPU speed and camera mega pixels.

Performance is what I'm interested in though. The GS2 was a beast, and demolished all android competition last year. It will be interesting to see if Samsung can maintain that performance edge for another year with the same wide margin.

Touchwiz looks very clean compared to Sense.

Honestly... is it really necessary to have a quad core processor in a phone? I mean, most people with a quad core PC don't utilize the four cores consistently......

I thought I read somewhere that the U.S. version or the Sprint version, will not be dual core... something about quad not being compatible with LTE? Or maybe I totally misunderstood ...
