Roaming data and voice are the two main things Sprint cares about. Tethering and heavy data usage on network are concerns to them but not major ones.

In response to Sprint's refusing ETF-free cancellation because of contract changes people are force roaming beyond the 300 mb/mo. to invoke termination by Sprint.

How much on network data usage can be accumulated? Is it truly unlimited?

It is "unlimited" but anyone who uses more than say 10-15 gigs will stand out if they were to do any audits of the highest data users.

You guys do realize that normal texts aren't data. They travel the same line as voice. MMS on the other hand uses data.

Conceivably they might send you a warning letter and they might research your account for signs that you are tethering or doing anything else that is a breach of contract. However, I don't see them doing that any time soon.

If they live out of town, I understand the amount of texts.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish with the excessive texting? There are people who send between 10 and 20 thousand texts a month, and the carriers don't care. Texts cost them a fraction of a cent and barely adds up.

If you're looking to get kicked off, change your PRL to a Verizon one and start downloading giant files all day and night.

Or just pay the ETF. Sell your phone to pay for it.
