I'm not in Omaha right now, I'm in Kearney, Nebraska, which is in central Nebraska (dead smack in the middle of the state and the US). I just tried roaming and its now on US Cellular 1x. Here it was always Alltel 152 on EVDO, which I relied on heavily for faster data because native Sprint coverage here is 1x also.
It also makes sense that its US Cellular, because where I am, there is no Cricket coverage. If I can get an older PRL, I should be able to get my Alltel/Verizon EVDO back right?
