Except the EVO 3D hasn't even been released to market yet. There's still plenty of time for another phone to be announced that's faster before the EVO 3D even comes out.

yeah because the speed of the processor has changed in that time. it doesnt matter to me, i'll probably buy the phone, but i'm cautiously optimistic about it still.

Well I guess its possible that a phone could be released soon that equals the speed of the 3D, but not sure we'll see a phone doing much better than 1.5ghz anytime soon, but who knows the way tech is evolving

The 1.5 ghz in my thread is a mdp unit, mainly for developers / benchmarks / testing / review purposes; at least the way I understood the anandtech article.

Yah I noticed that too, that's why I thought it was linking to my thread =\.

Granted, just about every phone can be overclocked, but battery takes the hit lol. Hopefully the way the new CPU / gpu works, it will be beneficial when oc'ing

Echo FTW with dual core - We should do a brain transplant to it .
