As long as they still have 2/3G for voice, they could do an LTE handset today, if they really wanted to. Voice on LTE though might take a little while longer, the standard was only recently set IIRC.

I seriously doubt that they could release an LTE handset today if they really wanted to. It's always been known that whenever an LTE handset is released that voice would continue to be carried over the current 3G network. I mean there are comments from VZW's CTO, Tony Malone http://www.phonescoop.com/news/item.php?n=5632 and **** Lynch http://www.telecomasia.net/content/v...s-due-mid-2011 stating that there wouldn't be LTE handsets until mid-2011. And according to them, mid-2011 would already be ahead of their end of 2011 target. Now there's a "rumor" that that there'll be LTE handsets in November? Like I said, I remain skeptical. I'm not from Missouri, but they're gonna have to show me on that one.

I wouldnt be surprised if they released one or 2 this year. I really wonder how long The droid x went from concept to release casue its so much like the evo i wonder if their will be a droid x wth lte in verizons soon (aka before 2011 ) future

The rumor on the tech blogs currently is Verizon will be releasing LTE devices by Black Friday, presumably from BB and Samsung.

Yup... You're a tard. While I sit here with my Mogul as we speak. Yes I would like an EVO but not enough to pass up SERO. That's why America is in debt. Ya want "Rims" on your **** but can't pay the rent "syndrome". I have used the "real" KB and while I loved it... "Loved" is the keyword here... It's broke as a joke and then I went to the stylus until I lost both of them and now I text and type with "me" trusty fingernail.

To get my point across I actually tried out a friends phone that happened to be nothing but a software KB as I recall, but you know what? It felt like a real keyboard even though it was touch screen. Do you know why, because it was an Instinct that had the ability to send a slight vibration to your fingertips each time that you touched a key. It felt more tactile to me than a Mogul and I'm still rocking my POS. </off sarcasm>

BTW? *** does getting points mean? I may get some by the end of this post. Been around this forum for a minute and while I don't post a lot I'm curious as to what it means....?

P.S. Saw some post(s) a few days ago where the hall monitors (not mods) telling people how they should or shouldn't talk because they said a word. Get r3@l man. Stop being such pussies.
