Is it just me, or is HTC really hitting Apple as hard as they can. (as well as all the cellphone companies)

It doesn't seem like it, I just saw main page and no jumping the gun type of articles.

eventually a phone with this spec list WILL come out, moore's law tells us it will, but i wouldnt hold your breath (or your money) over buying an EVO to wait for this baby, id say we see this type of device MAYBE announced at CITA, or at the World Mobile Conference and not in our hands until at least next year.

Yes. I don't care how big the screen is, on screen keyboards suck. Until someone can make some bumps pop out of the screen when the keyboard pops up so you can actually feel the keys, they will continue to suck. Even the iPad's big screen and onscreen keyboard is horrible.

I laugh at all the idiots who sit there looking crosseyed at the on screen keyboards trying to type, as I slide out my keyboard and don't even look at the phone while I type.

I don't agree that on screen keyboards suck. I have had an on screen keyboard on my phones for 3 years and wouldn't do anything other than an on screen keyboard. IMO, a keyboard brings another part of a phone to break.

I just hope HTC puts the EVO II on the market when I'm eligible for another upgrade. I refuse to buy a phone every year.
