I got onto the Free and Clear 3000 plan several months back. It's $20 plus an additional $15 for Blackberry data. What sucks about being on a dealer line is that I can't upgrade my phone at all unless I outright buy a phone at the full retail price or find a used one on the interwebs. I also recently got a letter in the mail from Sprint informing me that I am now a Premier Customer, so if I wasn't on an employee dealer line I could get a full upgrade every year rather than every two years.
I'm wondering if I drop the Free and Clear 3000 plan and revert back to the Everything Data plan for $69.99 a month if I would be able to get a full upgrade after a year (I'm only saving $25 bucks a month but I was also getting a 20% employee discount off my bill). I ran my number through upgrade eligibility on my Sprint system at my work and it says I'm eligible for my full upgrade September of this year but I can't access my account since I'm on an employee dealer plan. So my question is if I revert back to everything data, would I be able to upgrade my line this September? I'm going to eventually get a hold of my Sprint rep and see whats up, but I figured I'd give SU a holler first. Any suggestions/input would be great. Thanks. Then again, I'd rather not lose the PAM feature.

I currently have this plan as well. I pay $25 +3.xx for taxes
I want the Evo, which is $450, no contract! I get a savings of 44.99 a month so 10 months I have the phone paid off in savings. I just can't get a hold of my rep as she was fired recently. Could you upgrade your phone without calling the rep and just buying the phone outright? |

I decided to keep the line. It just sucks having to pay a fat sum of money for a new phone. I'm not gonna lie, I WANT AN EVO DAMN IT!

dude, it's a fair price, $450, in 10 months you have the phone paid for in savings if you went with the $69.99 plan.
You just have to wait until July to get it. |
