This thread is just meant to allow everyone to chime in on their EVO experience, specifically what went down when you went to pick it up. Did you wait in line? Did you get in a fight w/ the BB Mgr for gripping your EVO too tightly during activation? Did you get a speeding ticket on your way to the Sprint store? Tell you EVO story. I want to know it.

Here's mine:

I pre-ordered from RS and my pick up was at 9AM. I got to the Shack around 8:50 AM and there was no line. There was me and a guy in a white van in the parking lot. The guy in the white van walked into the store and that's when I realized they were open. I walked in and the white van guy was talking about the EVO. He had his girlfriend/wife in tow and she said it was all he could talk about. I smiled. The mgr immediately recognized me and began my process. I picked up a car charger. I was able to use the $10 coupon. I got %20 off the car charger and $20 bucks off the charger. Total was approximately $152. I rolled out. Since the white van guy left his $50 gift card at home he had to leave and return. The mgr announced that I was officially the first RS customer on the eastern shore to receive my EVO and all the staff began clapping. I blushed.

They only got 6 phones in and all were pre-orders. It was a clean, fast, and pleasant experience. I'm playing with it now.
