Can I use the Samsung Instinct with my plan?
Hello...
We have added another line to our phone plan. My sister-in-law moved nearby for college, so we added her as an extra line to our account. My wife was given a Samsung Instinct from a family member, but we never tried to activate it. I am wondering whether or not this Samsung Instinct can be activated using my sister-in-law's new line under our plan. Our cellphone plan: Sprint Everything Unlimited Messaging 1500 (with unlimited text, videos and pictures) Nights/Weekends 7 PM + Sprint Unlimited Vision Pack (including unlimited email, instant messaging and unlimited Sprint TV) + Sprint Premiere Customer Is it possible to use this phone under our plan? I know that the Sprint website indicates that an "Everything" plan would be required for this particular phone. However, we were hoping that this line would be able to use this Instinct phone since the line has most of the features of an "Everything" plan. This line has unlimited text, video, pictures, data, TV, etc... My wife has a Palm Centro, and although the Sprint website also says that you need a "Simply Everything" plan to use that phone. However, we still purchased the phone from Best Buy without a problem (and received our rebate too). My sister-in-law has a phone...but it is that cheap Sanyo SCP-2700 (which doesn't have Sprint TV (amongst other things)...and is somewhat cheaply made). We transferred her existing line into our plan. Since we have the Samsung Instinct, we hoped that she would be able to activate it and use it. Do you think that it would be possible to use the Instinct for her line? I have heard conflicting stories that some people can get Sprint to activate it...and others who could not.

To ellaborate a little more, it requires not just an everything plan. It requires an Everything Data or Simply Everything plan. An everything messaging won't cut it. That phone falls in the same category as the Pre, Pixi, Hero, and Moment.
