Everything on the phone is running fine after the update, but I definitely notice some things are choppy now. For instance, scrolling through the All Programs list is not smooth. Pulling down the notifications panel is also not as smooth.

2nd gripe: I got used to unlocking my phone by pressing the "Menu" button twice instead of the power and then swiping. For some reason I need to delay the two button presses for it to work. If I do it when the screen just turns black, it works fine, but if it has been sitting around for a minute or two, that's when I notice the problem.

Other than that, this update is good. Applications DEFINITELY start faster.

I can say that I am running 100% awake time while running Tweet and Facebook, but even so, my battery life has DRAMATICALLY improved

Just to add salt to your injury.. when I double press menu fast, it turns on the screen right away.

Eh, my awake was still 100%, pulled the battery (without turning the phone off first)for a minute and put it back in and voila, my awake time is now fixed.

Much better battery life also, I'm satisfied. Been running all day and battery remaining is great!

battery

I was just getting decent battery life right before the update and with the update it continues to be decent. I unplugged at 1:30 pm and plugged back in about 12:45 am..almost 12 hours and my battery was right at 60 percent. I played several solitaire games made a few short phone calls, played with the phone in general, sent about 20 text messages, checked my email many times, and did other things like check weather, news, fml, etc.

I don't have a problem charging my phone everyday as I have always been in the habit. If I can get my phone to last 10-12 hours and not go dead I am happy. This seems to accomplish this.

Also, my awake time was right at 9 percent when I woke up this morning.

I have had some issues with pressing items on the screen and having no response or very lagged response. This did not happen prior to the update.

I was able to update my phone, but each time I try to update my wife's phone, it says that an update is not available. I removed the battery and rebooted, but I still have the same problem. Any advice?

I remember reading on another forum before the update that turning the screen off manually like you state makes the phone sleep, and letting it time out doesn't so maybe this is the issue many are having (especially with the awake time while charging since the phone does bring the screen back on when you plug it in). I always hit the power button to turn off my screen and have never really went above 15% with my awake time (usually at 7-10% when I am not using it alot)

Phone is snappier after completing the update last night. Wasn't having the awake time issue before.

The one thing I am noticing is that Exchange is acting a little squirrelly. My sent items aren't synching unless I manually click "Refresh" from the mail client.

Anyone else having this problem?

I had this problem every once in a while with my hotmail on the email app every once in awhile, and sometimes it wouldn't even send/recieve when I did manually refresh and I still have yet to do the firmware update.

I've read almost the entire thread. Haven't seen any mention of NFL Live. I understand that before the update, the audio would quit when the screen went dark. Any change to that since the update?

Disabled it in the settings when I first got the phone, it only does it in when dialing a number now regardless of the setting (after the update).

Others are having the same problem, which is not a very welcome addition.
