visual voicemail question.....

i have had some of the issues with visual voicemail not being about the download to the phone and forcing me to actually call into the voicemail system.

here's my observation, and please someone let me know if i just missed a memo. the last time i was forced to call in, i had mobile network and evdo turned OFF. the time i remember getting a visual voicemail, i had the mobile network turned ON.

does visual voicemail require the network connection active?

Just an fyi, when Sprint eliminates call forwarding fees on Nov 8th, use Phonefusion. Phonefusion's VVM app is the best app around, you're able to receive faxes as well. The sound quality is much-much better.

You're welcome, I believe to have call forwarding fees waived, the customer has to be on one of the required plans for the Hero, Palm Pre, etc.

Forgot to point out, "immediate call forwarding" (calls go straight to voicemail) will still be charged 20 cents a minute.

Correct, Conditional call forwarding for busy calls or calls not answered using the phone will be free. If you set up call forwarding using *72, that is immediate call forwarding. Google provides a link to help you set it up, Phonefusion provides setup in their software on the device, or you can call Sprint customer care.

Hahaha, at one of our properties there is a post production company, they did post production for the movie "17 Again", which Michelle Trachtenberg was in. I've met Michelle Trachtenberg through Press Junkets I do for a studio. She looks much different in person. Yes it's me, 2 years ago............................................... .................................................. ..............................JK
