v950 Sprint Mobile/Desktop Sync & Exchange
Okay,
Sprint Mobile Sync was working great until I connected Outlook 2007 to my Exchange Server. Now Desktop Sync gives me an error: Cannot read Outlook Folder Outlook encountered an error trying to read a folder. Please check your folder settings. My v950 works fine syncing my contacts to MY Sprint on the Web. But now my desktop sync is dead. Any ideas? I have checked everything I know - even file permissions If not, any thoughts on how to keep my contacts in outlook in sync with my V950, vice-versa? Thanks to all that can advise. I did a search but couldn’t find any information on this. |

Although this is an old post, I think the issue continues almost six months later. I am having the same issue described here. Did anyone ever figure this out?

Solution
The solution is creating a new Outlook Data File.
Close Outlook, goto Windows Control Panel and open Email. Create a New Data File and Define it as a Default. Than reconfigure your Sync to new folders and Sync again to have your data back. After everything is ok, you can remove the older data file Closing Outlook again and going into Email options from Control Panel. Hope that helps. |
