Pearl not Updating Time with Time Zone Switch

So I've had my Pearl for over a week now. I fly between Eastern/Central time zones every week. I've noticed the Pearl does not update the time based on where I am. I am in Chicago in Central and Columbus in Ohio, so I'm not too close at all to the time zone lines.

I have tried setting it up to update automatically from Network and the Blackberry Network. But, I keep having to select the time zone I am in.

Any solutions?

BB's don't not automatically change time zones.

Take this with a grain of salt, but a CSR at Sprint store swears up and down that if you switch the setting to "Network" AND immediately hit "Update" then "save settings" that the clock will automatically sync with local cell towers and display correct local time. Most people just change the setting to "Network" and then hit "Save Settings" and nothing happens. Every other post I've read on the matter says that regardless of whether the Source is set to "Network" or "Device" that BB's don't automatically adjust time,but I sure hope this technique works.
