I finally found a case/pouch for my Q that I am very pleased with. I have looked at several holsters/pouches that I did not like and ended up either not buying or returning to the store. I searched the internet for reviews for Q cases and didn't turn up as much info as I would have liked.
I used a skin by Bestskinsever (BSE) on it for several months. BSE I was very pleased w/the feel and protection of the BSE, but eventually it started to peel up on some of the edges and needed replaced. I do still like the BSE, but it doesn't solve my problem of no holster. I finally decided to bite the bullet and go for a more expensive case. I bought a Sena Case and Pouch and love it!! ![]() Sena Set that I bought It was either on sale or there was a coupon code out there when I bought it (I forget which) which made it 10% cheaper I believe. Sena has other case choices for the Q as well: Q cases My favorite part is the Pouch (holster)! It is wonderful! I thought seriously about the flip style case but decided on the pouch instead because of the clip design on the pouch. I am female and rarely wear a belt. I needed something I could comfortably and safely wear on the top of my waistband. The clip on the Sena pouch is leather covered and has a very small profile. It works very well on my waistbands and doesn't hurt to wear it like some clip on styles I've used previously. It does swivel to several different positions so you can wear it however works best for you. It has a very soft velvet lining. It fits the Q just perfectly. It is snug enough to keep in from falling out, yet doesn't hamper me from removing the phone quickly for use. I was very concerned that it was a vertical pouch, but that is not an issue now that I've used it. It works great. I usually wear it more horizontally and it works great. I would highly recommend this pouch. It runs $40-$50 depending upon the style you select. I chose the croc style in black. It looks great. However, since I am a female I probably should have chosen red instead of black so it would look less manly. It does look nice though. I bought the combo which includes the leather skin. The skin fits VERY snug and it really quite nice. My only concern with it is that it fits so well that it is very difficult to put on or remove! I had to use flat ended tweezers to help guide it on. If you have a Q where you have to remove the battery to reset it often you should not buy this skin. You have to take the skin off to remove the battery. The skin offers very good protection for the Q. I can easly reach all the keys with it on. (The keys are not covered) If you are prone to dropping your phones then I'd highly recommend this skin. It adds very little size to the Q. The biggest design issue with it is that there is a small strap over the top which snaps on the back to hold it in place. I think the Q would never move in the skin even without the snap. The snap is big and sturdy, adding some bulk. When I first got it I had trouble inserting the skinned phone into the pouch bottom first because the darn snap would catch and pop open. I finally figured out to insert it top first into my pouch to prevent that from happening. Now that I've used it a few weeks the case and skin seem to have adjusted to each other to make it all work perfectly no matter how I insert the phone in the pouch. If you aren't too concerned about dropping the phone but want a pouch to carry it in, I'd consider using a BSE on the phone to give it some protection and the Sena pouch to carry it in. That would also allow access to the battery. Probably this combination would be my personal favorite. If you like more protection, go with the combo like I did. I do like it!! It is comfortable and sticks out very little from my waistband compared to anything else I've seen. It works well. The flip pouches by sena get very good reviews too. If I wore a belt most of the time I woudl have ordered that style instead. I was afraid the clip would be uncomfortable on my waistband. I would not chose to order only the leather skin (with optional clip) to wear on my belt, even though they do offer that option. That would leave the front of your phone exposed while wearing it. The skin you get with the combo is identical but without the clip on the back. Also, the pouch with the combo is identical to the pouch w/o the combo. There is no difference because the skin doesn't add much size to the phone so the same pouch works whether you have the leather skin or not. I called Sena and talked with them about this before my purchase. I didn't want to order the combo if it meant I had to order a larger pouch that would stick out further off my clothing. I know this combo was expensive, but I finally decided to give in and get it. I don't regret my decision at all. I wear the phone everyday and use it often. Why not have something nice to carry it safely in?

I know it was a lot. Like I said, I think my first choice would be to buy the pouch only and that is cheaper. If I remember off the top of my head it is $40 which is about the same as the holster Sprint sells for the Q. Only the Sena is much nicer.
What makes it worth more to me is that it is comfortable to wear too. I resisted buying one for a long time, but finally got tired of my family complaining that I never answer my phone. (because it often wasn't anywhere near me to hear it ring). I tried other cases, but they didn't work right for me so I wouldn't have worn them long. So...I returned them. I know it is a lot of money and probably shouldn't have bought the set because of that. But, for those who don't mind spending more for a quality set I just wanted to post my review. As a sidenote....I'm not real crazy about the plastic screen cover on the sena leather skin. I like the BSE better for the screen cover. Someday I may end up cutting the plastic cover out of the sena. Looks like it would work fine even without it. It's not that it is a bad cover, it's just that any plastic cover over the screen is somewhat irritating to me.
