Just got Free Unlimited Text messaging through E-Care.

Now have:
2 lines sharing 550 min with 60 reoccuring bonus minutes (610) Long distance included.
Free m/m
Free N/W @ 6P
Free Unlimited Text
Free Roaming
15% business discount
$51.00 mo

I am wanting a loyalty discount but I also would prefer to have the Powervision Ultimate pack and not sure which one to ask for. The loyalty discount will only save me about $8-$9 with 15% as my $60 plan does not gain me much savings. The $25 Powervision per phone would be a HUGE savings but I am not sure if they give it for free or just discount it.

Any suggestions??

Honestly, I've pretty much given up with E-Care. I have about 20 or so different #'s and email addresses for senior executives and at this point, when I have a problem, I just go to them. It's a lot easier than dealing with the absolute horrible customer service that I'd otherwise receive through regular Customer Care or E-Care...

I want to break up a four line family plan and was originally going to take two lines and sign up for 500 minute SERO plans, while keeping two lines on the family plan. I really want a couple Treo 755p's but phones are rapidly disappearing from SERO's site, so I'm not sure how much longer the promotion will be around. I figure trying E-Care or Retentions might help to get me some plans similar to what I would have gotten with SERO. Here's a draft of e-mail I'm ready to send. Can anyone that's had success with E-Care look it over and see if there's anything I should change to help get what I want?

Quote:
Hello,

I have been a Sprint customer for many years and currently have a four line family plan. The two oldest lines, (line 1) and (line 2) have been active for about six or seven years. Having a single plan with four lines has become impractical, and I would like to change this to two plans with two lines each while retaining the phone numbers. Since three of my lines are out of contract and the fourth will be shortly, I have been recently shopping around to see what plan I could get that would be best suited for my needs.

I would like to have one plan for the lines (line1) and (line4), and one for (line2) and (line3). For (line1) and (line4), I'd like to purchase two Palm Treo 755p's. I see that they're available for new accounts for $279 each, so I would like to get them for that price. I would like to activate them on a plan with Power Vision, SMS text messaging, and TEP insurance on both lines. I would like a similar plan for (line2) and (line3), but TEP would not be needed. I don't have specific phones in mind for these lines yet, however if the discount prices for new activations could be available, I shouldn't have a problem picking which phones I want for these lines.

I have been a satisfied and loyal Sprint customer and would very much like to keep my business with your company. I'd like some information on what types of plans I can get, how many minutes they would include, and what the pricing would be. Can you please assist me in finding new plans that would suit my needs?

Thank you,
(me)

Hello,

I have been a loyal Sprint customer for many years and currently have a four lines on a family share plan. After having this plan for a while I'm seeing that I need something more. Currently 3 of my lines are out of contract and my 4th one will be also in a few months. I am looking to renew all 4 lines on my account.
If possible I would like two of the lines to be Sero lines and the other two to still remain on a family share plan.

I've done some research on the phones and I'd like to purchase two Palm Treo 755p's. I see that they're available for new accounts for $279 each, so I would like to get them for that price. I would like to activate them with the Sero plan that I mentioned about and get SMS text messaging, and TEP insurance on both lines. I would like a similar plan for (line2) and (line3), but TEP would not be needed. I don't have specific phones in mind for these lines.

Again I have been a satisfied and loyal Sprint customer and would very much like to keep my business with your company. If the Sero plan that I would like to get isn't available I'd like some information on what types of plans I can get, how many minutes they would include, and what the pricing would be. Can you please assist me in finding new plans that would suit my needs?

Thank you,
(me)

No need to mention the activation because most of the time that is waived. Really The reply you get back all depends on the wording of the email. I think what I wrote will work for you.

Anybody else feel free to revise what I typed

OK, this is going to sound stupid, but how do I send that e-mail without making it shorter? The form tells me there's a 1200 character limit, and what Goodgyrl posted, with my information inserted, is 1347 characters. Is there a way around this?

So, can retention at times be more helpful than E-care? I am currently going through a very big billing dispute and I am not sure who I should be talking to.

You should be talking to a supervisor in business account services.

E-Care asked me to call, figures. Here's the conversation:

Quote:
Dear (me),

Thank you for writing back to us.

I will recommend that you contact our phone support as we need to talk to you. You may contact us by dialing *2TALK from your PCS Phone or 1-888-788-4727 from a landline phone and one of our specialists will be there to address your concern at the earliest.

I assure you that we, at eCare, redirect our customers to call us only for those concerns which can be resolved effectively through a verbal interaction. Otherwise, we do our best to resolve the concerns in the best possible way.

Thank you for contacting us. Have a great day.

Hi David,

I have researched the SERO plans and have found that some existing customers
have been switched to the new plans and have been able to keep their
numbers. I'd like to move two of my lines, (line 1) and (line 4), to this type of
plan. If that is not possible, I'd like to move them to a family share plan
of their own. I'd also like to purchase the Treo 755p's at the new
plan/SERO discount. Can you help me with this?

Thanks,
me

Is there anything else I can try with E-Care or should I just call CS?

How did you do this? I just spent a half hour on the phone with Sprint. I explained what I wanted to do and the CSR off the bat said all he could do would be to move the lines over to a standard plan and give me the HUP $150 rebates on new phones. I asked about moving the plans to SERO, and he said as far as he could see, you could only do it for new activations. He said he'd be researching it and will call me back in a couple hours, we'll see how that goes. My lines are out of contract so I wouldn't mind porting them to another carrier then back to get SERO as new customers, but the Treo 755p isn't on the site, and that's what I really want. If I knew SERO would be around for a while and that the 755p would be available for it soon, I wouldn't mind waiting.
