Both have pros and cons, you want a mini tablet and phone? Get note. You want phone, get S3.

$.02

Only difference is, the note can do everything the GS3 can do plus some AND be a phone. Now as far as value for the money, is it worth $100 more than the GS3 I suppose that's debateable.

On the other hand, the GS3 can easily fit into almost any pocket you can put a normal phone in, where as the Note 2 can not.

The GS3 is also a much more discrete size if you like to sneak use your phone on occasion. The Note 2 is like pulling out a tablet.

It all depends on what you want. Do you want a near-tablet that's also a phone? Or do you want a phone with apps?

With all the recent gs3 deals, it's more like is it $250 better.

I owned both and you can't go wrong with either phone. SG3 has been out for a little while so being the phone junkie that I am I like having the latest and greatest. Speed, battery life and sound quality are all better with the note 2 but not by a lot. I like having a phone most chicks won't.

After a week of using the note 2 everything else feels tiny.

I bet, my E-LTE feels a lot bigger than my og, and display size specs are not even that much different

Big things come in small packages? Hehe...

I don't think fitting it in your pocket is even an issue...well for those of us that don't wear those hipster skinny jeans anyways.

I personally like the SG3 better, its still a larger phone screen size than most without the tablet feel. Thats just my .02 cents.
