Selling Sero accounts

My wife and I both have Sero-P accounts (both with 500 minutes, obviously unlimited text/data). The 3G speeds have been dismal for the last year I had an Evo but I was able to put up with it because we were also in a good 4G area. We have moved and no longer have 4G. Our phones are unusable and we are dropping 10% of calls, about 10-20% of texts, and I can't even load Weatherbug on my phone because data speeds are so slow (it tells me I have no data signal). We're fed up enough that we are likely transfering to a different carrier.

How do I sell these plans? I see them listed on Ebay but I'm not sure how to go about transfering them once they are sold.

Question - I have someone interested in the plan on Ebay and they wanted to know if they set up an Everything Plus plan with Sprint if I will be able to transfer the Sero plan to them. My understanding is the Sero TOL should work if they have an EPRP or Sero plan in place already, is that correct?

my understanding is that all sero plans are non transferable.

ive done 2 tol that i bought on ebay in the last month...fairly easy...1st try on the first and 2nd try on the last one.

You will get some reps that will tell you they are not transferable and will be switched to a regular consumer plan. Not exactly the truth in my experience. I tol'd a sero line a few days ago and have never been stuck with an extra line.

For the folks who have successfully TOL'd recently (if you're still reading), does the act of transferring set a new end of contract date or does it transfer as is? Thanks.

Hi,

I came across your post on this thread, and I would like to ask you a question.

My sister got the SERO 500 $30/month from someone 2 years ago. Then, she got the same plan from someone else for me so that we could be under 1 account with 2 lines. We were both from 2 different carriers before joining Sprint, and she is currently the account holder for these 2 lines.

My question is, "can I get my line out of her account by doing a TOL but still KEEP my SERO plan?" I would like to separate from her account and have my own to make payment easier for both of us. I have called Sprint CS Employee Care & Change of Ownership departments many times to speak to different reps because I keep getting the same answer that I can't keep the SERO plan and that it will be on a Regular Consumer Plan.

I don't want to lose this SERO plan, but we really want to separate our phone number from her account...Both lines are OUT OF CONTRACT.

Please let me know if my current situation is similar to yours, and how did you go about getting that extra line out of your account? Was the other person getting your line be able to keep the SERO plan?
