In many parts of the world erecting towers is too costly and expensive so they use aerostats, aka. tethered blimps.

Wow. I have an extreme fear of heights and I felt extremely anxious and my hands became sweaty watching that 7 minute video. I can't imagine the folks who do this for a living just to make ends meet and support their family.
