Good article, but didn't have time to get through the whole thing. Apple does what every other muti-national does. Pays low wages and the home country promises cheap dependable labor. It's no surprise that you see these reports in China about the high levels of suicide. You have workers doing the same thing over and over with little down time. This was the same issue decades ago with the U.S. auto assembly lines. People were going nuts doing the same monotous job continually.
Eventually, some left wing human rights group will start to protest and once the publicity hits critical mass, Apple will demand reforms and better treatment for its paid slaves.
