So if you upgrade your phone to 6.5, will the stealth tethering not work? I don't want to do the wifi setup because of battery life concerns. I am asking because I had read others saying they couldn't get it to work.

Some people couldn't do it but I'm sure it was user error. I would stick with 6.1 .

My phone shipped with 6.5 and it works fine with a registry edit.

insert a sim card to tether. worked for me on energy rom

I have a problem. I added a forced roaming option with a registry edit and it does work for forcing roaming, but when it's forced roaming I get no EVDO data, only 1xRTT. I know roaming EVDO is available here because when I force my old Samsung M510 to roaming it picks up the EVDO.

Does Verizon/Alltel not allow Sprint SmartPhone's to roam on their EVDO or something?

Any one else getting the Account was Forbidden to access twitter Server? when i try to check i get this Download Error. I have even signed up for a new twitter account and see if that works and it doesnt... however 3rd party apps work on the phone

Just had my fourth Treo Pro replaced with a TP2. Everything's great, except when I log into Marketplace, I get this message:

Error: This Windows Live Id has been used on too many phones. Marketplace will now exit. Please restart and use another Windows Live Id.

Zero help from Microsoft, Sprint or HTC (of course, Microsoft is the problem, but they had me call Sprint and HTC).
Sure my ID has been used on plenty of phones...sequentially, not simultaneously.
REALLY need help - lots of $ tied up in apps.

Just create a new live ID and use it to log into the Marketplace.

How would I link a new ID to my apps purchased on my old ID?

Assuming that you aren't able to detach the ID from some/all of the other devices, I can only suggest that you contact the app developers' to get a license for use that's not associated with Marketplace. Let them know you've already purchased the app.

There's no longer a way to " deauthorize" devices, so I'll try your suggestion of contacting the developers directly.
Really getting burned out on microshaft though.
