HTC Hero Rooted 2.2 Cyanogen Mod

I just installed Cyanogen Mod yesterday, and so far am LOVING 2.2 on my Hero.

BUT, I'm missing my VM, and would like Sprint Navigation. Anyone have any ideas where I can obtain them? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They can be found in the same thread of the xda forum where you downloaded the CM6 rom. Just do an advanced search on xda for those keywords.

Unfortunately, I downloaded Cyanogen Mod directly from http://www.cyanogenmod.com/ but I will check that out, thanks for letting me know. I remember reading it before, thought it was on here! I believe I need to be a member to downloade from XDA...guess it's time to join!

Make sure to do a backup before you install via recovery.

email me at skriegerjr@gmail.com
I'll email you the nav.apk file I have, see if that does the trick.

Otherwise, what I would try...download the file to your desktop. Connect via usb, and turn on USB storage. I created an apk folder in the root directory of my sd card, that I throw all apk files into...just makes it quick and easy. Then browse to that file from file manager...and install like normal. If that still won't work, I'll do some more digging.
