Sprint Charging $10/mo Extra per line for all Smartphones, even 3G..."Premium Data"
Looks like the $10/mo extra "Premium Data" charge (previously only for 4G devices like Evo, Epic) is now being charged for all Smartphones, even 3G ones starting Jan 30, 2011...
For those of us already using a 3G smartphone prior we get grandfathered in, but the verbiage seems to imply that when we upgrade our phones or activate another smartphone we'll get hit with the $10/mo extra charge (per line?): http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/18/s...ng-by-10-call/ I wonder if this will apply to EPRP/SERO customers as well? Seeing that the "Premium Data" charge for 4G phones did apply to EPRP/SERO customers this new change probably affects us as well :'(. Really stinks. |
