Confirmed in Eastland TX on IH-20.

Last Result:
Download Speed: 1925 kbps (240.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 133 kbps (16.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

Now I did have to force EVDO Only mode.

Menu > Settings > Display > # Key > MSL Code > HDR/1X Selection > EVDO Only Mode

I did notice that I could not receive TXT's while on EVDO, perhaps this is why it has not been put in the current PRL release yet.

Hmmm...I hate to get my hopes up over this too but, I was never able to do this in Midland until today!!! When I set my phone on EVDO only and Sprint Only, it went straight to Ev with a STRONG signal!! I didn't do a speed test but data came thru fast....I could make calls but could not receive calls or texts. I was able to do this several times today with no problems. This NEVER worked in Midland before!

yea mine use to do that like 3 month back but now it doesent ev suppose to deploy here in odessa in december the tech say late december 8 of tech told me but dont get ur hopes up thoe

cool but I thought you only got that result in a certain area of Odessa. I'm in central Midland and I did a speed test:

I also tried this in Abilene, and NOTHING.

I have got to find a way to force roaming on Alltel when in Abilene somehow.

Sounds like they're starting on each end of IH20 and working towards Abilene.

Hmm, I've never gotten uploads over 128kbps anywhere but have gotten downloads up to 2000kbps.
