Ive been browsing around about the little bits and pieces of this nice piece of hardware, and its still pretty bland. Right now I use a BlackBerry Tour, and i LOVE the thing to death. Waiting on 5.0 for true threaded messaging (the current 5.0 leaked build has some issues so i went back to 4.7).
The one thing that i despise with blackberry is that they have a horrible web browser. Even Opera Mini cant cover up how 'ehh' the browsing experience is with them. Im tempted to pickup our just-released Samsung Moment, or the HTC Hero, but i really dont feel like i need to have multiple phones just so i can have an awesome text experience as well as browsing. So heres my question, how many of you fellow users out there would love to see an Apple Tablet appear on Sprints 3G/4G network?? and....GO! xD;; |

Love to see it, yeah. Will it happen, no. My guess is their will be a GSM version and at best a Verizon CDMA. Sprint is that bastard child with the smallest, and still shrinking, subscriber base. If they make a CDMA version it will be on Verizon. Sure there is a chance that they will make it for both but I doubt it.

True that. Apple has had a cozy relationship with AT&T ever since Verizon turned them down on the iPhone. Also Apple is trying to expand their sales in Europe. Both of those facts point to a GSM-based device. I also agree that a CDMA version would probably be made for Verizon, if it was to happen at all. Bummer as I'm quite the Apple fanboy (except for the iPhone).

i wouldnt count Sprint out of the picture just yet
. yes, Verizon turned down Apple for the iPhone before, and why, because they wanted their logo on the phone? bahahah.. and now with the new anti-iphone ad out there, im pretty sure they wont get the phone, nor a tablet on their network for quite some time. they are..inconsistent, to say the least. Why would they go out and make an anti-iphone commercial, yet tell everyone "oh we are interested, the ball is in apples court". lame, right?as far as AT&T goes, their prices are so high. I will admit, I had myself an iPhone, but its way too easy to cancel with ATT and go anywhere else. The bare minimum iPhone plan still puts you at about 90-95$/month. cancellation cost me what, 175? ohhh, two months pay ha. in all reality, everything said above may happen, and a lot of people sadly expect much of that, but Dan Hesse has been picking up on things pretty quickly, so i hope they can pickup this little treat before anyone else, no matter what the cost. |
