Just wondering how everyone is dealing with the flooding, family, friends alright?

My brother in law lives in CR, Iowa and his basement is flooded, but they are alright.

That's where I'm living right now (cedar rapids) my house is fine, however at least 20 of my friends have lost their homes and everything in it. It's really, really bad here, one of the hospitals here have now evucated. We on the verge of completly losing our drinking water, and it's just getting worst by the minute.

Sorry to hear that man.

It pored down rain in Columbus Ohio for 15-20 mins yesterday and the storm caused some flooding, knocked trees down, and some lost power but not that bad compared to what other people are going through.

Jeep on 9th Ave. near OSU campus crushed by tree.

Since quite of few people have complained to the mods regarding this thread and another one in the general forum I request that this be closed.

A couple of the mods are claiming I made the entire story up and because of that they are getting dozens of complaints about it from other SU members, it's best to just move on and close this.

Sedge is probably fine, doesn't he live in New York at at the moment? I know he went to school @ Iowa City, but has since moved on. I don't know if he has family here or not, although to be honest Iowa city didn't get nearly as bad as Cedar Rapids, so chances are his family is ok.'

Ah since I've been away nothin has changed on these boards. Why on earth would someone make up something like this? That's like saying that Katrina was a rain storm.

The midwest has been bad this summer. In one week the Omaha metro area was hit by two tornadoes. In one night I was trapped by 3 wall clouds. One 20 miles north of the city, one right over the city & one to the south of the city. That one that killed the boyscouts was a few miles north & west. It came out of a system that was a wall cloud over Blair.
