Froyo on the EVO 4G
Hey all,
So I'm sure several of you have seen that froyo has been ported to the EVO unofficially, if not the guide/info can be found here You must have root access to your phone, and installing would void your warranty. Lastly, the official Android 2.2 is rumored to officially be released on the HTC EVO by June 17th so no need to fret, its coming soon eitherway. Anywho, I've heard that Android 2.2 comes with/or works with flash 10.2. I was just wondering if its already included on the 2.2 rom, or if I'd have to download flash 10.2 seperately.. if so where would one get it, and if anyone's actually tested this yet, I've heard no hulu, they still block everything related to mobile, but do websites like justin.tv, surfthechannel and all those websites work? Thanks! |

Only rumor is the release date, a few sources are saying by the end of June. HTC and google themselves said they'd try to have it out a few weeks after the nexusone received it which started on may 22nd.
Anyways, I was more interested in learning how to get froyo installed and how/if I could switch between/rollback 2.1 and 2.2. I really, really want flash support, but not having access to the camera would be a big downfall. |
