I've been using Zipwhip for several months now to send/receive text messages to/from non-Sprint customers. It's a great app...until 2 days ago. I didn't change/add anything on my computer, and now Zipwhip won't work.

I used to be able to log in to MySprint, scroll down to the link 'More Text Options', click on it which takes me to the Digital Lounge. In the Digital Lounge I would click on 'Beta the online text messenger' and it would take me to Zipwhip.

Now, when I click on 'Beta the online text messenger', it just opens the same webpage, not Zipwhip.

I did both a Web Chat and phone call with Sprint Tech Support and neither was able to help fix my problem.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

I am on SERO 500 F&F plan, with unlimited internet usage.

I just upgraded my phone to HTC Snap. On there I saw the Navigation Application, which I tried out and it worked perfectly.

I was wondering if this is free or if sprint will charge anythign for this app usage?

And are there any other GPS apps (hopefully free ones :-) for this phone?

Sending an email text to Number@messaging.sprintpcs.com does not work for my mother. Did in the past, but it has been months and texts still never arrive. She has the text plan (works fine phone to phone texting) and she receives messages sent from the sprint website just fine. In addition, my father's phone works fine, my aunt's, my sister, they all work just fine with this except my mother's phone.

Called sprint help. "Her phone is not capable to accept those messages" Right....more great service, eh?

So, is there something wrong with the service? Her phone is older (I think she has the Sanyo Katana....not sure if it is the Katana II....its the pink one from a few years ago). It is not powervision.

Anyway, if you've got any suggestions, I'd appreciate it! I have had this issue since I started my account 3+ years ago. I Until last year I thought I wasn't receiving the texts because I didn't have texts included in my plan. I use texts all the time now with my family but cant receive texts from friends on other carriers.

I looked on numberinvestigator and it showed the following for my phone number:

Area: Twin Cities, MN (Minnesota)
Exchange: 651-307 (Aerial Communications)
Phone Company: AERIAL COMMUNICATIONS
Switch: EAGNMNZOCM3


Shouldn't it show sprint? Today, I did that with a text message and didn't work. Got a little red 'x' and an error message saying, "SMS error 107, message ID 45." Did some diagnosing and realized it only happens with *67. Called Sprint, got someone competent, who informed me that it's a recent change in their policy. She said the change happened 3-4 days ago and she's had a few calls about it already.
